Drew McArthur is Vice President - Corporate Affairs and Compliance
Officer for TELUS. With over 30 years experience in the
telecommunications industry, Drew has been involved in many aspects of
the business, including network operations, customer service and
marketing. Drew was appointed as Privacy Officer in 2000 and is the
individual at TELUS accountable for its compliance with PIPEDA and
TELUS' privacy policies. With several years of practical experience in
dealing with customer and employee privacy issues, Drew is
well-positioned to provide insights into the challenge of balancing
business requirements with the obligation to protect privacy and
